Our German language program is as complex as the cultural history of Vietnam. It gives insight into the rapid economic and social changes the country is currently undergoing. It highlights Ho Chi Minh's revolution and the wars of liberation against the Japanese, French and Americans, the heyday of Vietnamese imperialism in the Middle Ages and the impressive culture of the Hindu Champa, who rivaled the neighboring Khmer in what is now Cambodia until the 14th century.
