The country

The country has much to offer: Untouched villages of mountain tribes, where life has hardly changed for generations. Fantastic landscapes along the Red River, wild mountain massifs and evergreen mountain rainforests, with a unique flora and fauna. However, this is threatened by the growing population, by industrialization and last but not least by the consequences of the area bombardments during the war, in which the American air force unloaded about 14 million tons of explosives and dioxin-containing Agent Orange over the country.
